The British painter Edwin Deakin made California his home in the late 1800s, and late in his career painted this stunning view of San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts- originally built for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915, and still standing today! Deakin's moody painting looks out at the the Palace- which had only just been built, but which looks like an ancient ruin- across its lagoon, under a cloudy sky, as a small flock of birds lands on the surface of the water.
Art by Edwin Deakin. Finished puzzle size 29" x 20".
